Nearly 2,000 years ago, the ancient city of Pompeii was buried under nearly 20 ft of ash from the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius. This preserved numerous examples of Roman architecture, including trim pieces. These rafter tail designs are inspired by different trim pieces throughout the city.
