Front Entryway Deck and Ramp in Washington State

Our past client was so happy with his patio cover that he asked us to design him a front entryway deck and ramp. Built in Washington State, the new structure creates a welcoming and accessible approach to the home. The 18-ft ramp provides smooth wheelchair access from the driveway to the front door, while the 10 ft × 12 ft deck area extends the usable sitting space at the entry. A decorative pergola frames the new seating area, adding both structure and charm to the front elevation while maintaining clear accessibility and safety.

The project was built by the homeowner and installed over the existing concrete stoop, blending seamlessly with the house’s layout. Designed to meet local building standards, it passed inspection on the first try, which is a testament to careful planning and craftsmanship. The result is a front entry that’s both functional and inviting, combining accessibility with architectural appeal.
